Forgotten Island
The critic
(3.5 out of 5)★★★½☆
A vivid, sincere friendship adventure through Philippine folklore, with a memory-eating island at its heart and an animation look that borrows from anime, Ghibli and more.
Critics largely rave, but the pace is relentless, and the Guardian found it frantic and empty. It is a lively family film that will exhaust some viewers and delight others.
