Tip Toe
The critic
(4 out of 5)★★★★☆
Russell T Davies's Tip Toe turns a feud between two Manchester neighbours into a tense, angry thriller, carried by Alan Cumming and David Morrissey. Critics largely praise it, and split on whether its message is sometimes shouted rather than dramatised.
A heavy but gripping five hours, and one of the year's best-acted series.
