Evil Dead Burn

A cruel, technically assured horror sequel that critics split on: the evilest Evil Dead yet to its admirers, an exhausting and literal-minded endurance test to its detractors. Around seven in ten reviews are positive, but the praise is for the craft rather than the fun.

Worth it if you want practical gore and showy camerawork; skip it if relentless family-trauma horror is not what you need tonight.
